Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 1st, 2026
At Voxaq, we believe your unreleased content is your most valuable asset. Our entire infrastructure is built around a "Zero-Retention" philosophy. This Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect, what we don't collect, and how we protect your data.
1. The 48-Hour Zero-Retention Rule
We do not want your videos, and we do not keep them.
- When you upload a video, it is processed in an isolated, secure environment.
- Exactly 48 hours after processing, our automated systems cryptographically shred and permanently delete both your original source file and the watermarked output file from our servers.
- We do not maintain a database, archive, or backup of your video content. Once the 48-hour window passes, your video is gone forever from our infrastructure.
2. "Blind Math" Processing (No AI, No Snooping)
Voxaq does not "watch" or "understand" your videos.
- No AI Scanning: We do not use Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, facial recognition, object detection, or audio transcription on your files.
- Dumb Math: Our system applies blind, mathematical pixel-shifts to the video file. The system does not know if your video contains a movie, a course, or a private vlog. It only processes the raw data required to embed the invisible ID.
3. What We Actually Collect (Metadata Only)
While we delete your video files, we must retain basic account metadata to run our business, bill you, and prevent abuse. We collect:
- Account Data: Your name, email address, and billing information (processed securely via Polar.sh).
- Processing Logs: Timestamps of when you uploaded a file, the file size, the resolution, and the numeric "User ID" (e.g., ID #4821) you requested us to embed.
- Network Data: IP addresses and browser user-agents for security and rate-limiting purposes.
Note: Voxaq does not store the real-world identity of the people you send videos to. If you embed "User ID #4821" into a video, our system only knows the number 4821. You are responsible for keeping the private ledger that maps "4821" to "John Doe" in your own secure database.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your metadata strictly to:
- Provide and maintain the Voxaq service.
- Process your subscription and track your monthly minute usage.
- Prevent spam, abuse, and illegal activity on our servers.
- Communicate with you regarding service updates or support requests.
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell your data. We only share data with essential service providers required to run Voxaq:
- Polar.sh: For secure payment processing.
- OVH (Our Hosting Provider): For secure server infrastructure.
- Legal Compliance: If we are served with a valid, legally binding subpoena or court order, we will comply. However, because of our 48-hour Zero-Retention rule, we will only be able to hand over account metadata (emails, IPs, processing timestamps). We cannot hand over video files we no longer possess.
6. Security of Your Data
We use enterprise-grade security measures to protect your data while it is in our temporary 48-hour processing queue. This includes encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), isolated server environments, and strict access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security against state-level actors or zero-day vulnerabilities.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR in Europe, CCPA in California), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal metadata. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@voxaq.co. Note that we cannot "delete" your video files upon request, as our automated 48-hour deletion system already guarantees their destruction.
